Town have received congratulations from ex-players, from elsewhere in football and more widely on social media following yesterday’s promotion back to the Premier League, here’s a selection of those messages.

Thank you Phil for a working Sunday, bringing us further joy to read. Fortuna D what a special mention, hope they go up to so we can reciprocate.

That's a brilliant and very satisfying read. There's no doubt that many players who had to move on to further their careers during our darker days have very much remained Town fans over the years. Great to see Peralta, Reuser, De vos, Forrest, as well as the obvious guys a little closer to home all expressing their joy. Heartwarming.

Don't know why, but my hay fever started playing up reading all those :^D
Particularly bad watching the video from the hotel run by McKenna's family, and then reading the congrats from Ian Wright; always struck me as someone both as a player and a pundit who genuinely understands what a football club means to a fan, and also someone who came up through the lower leagues and had to work hard at his game to improve - his appreciation of the journey some of our players are making means a lot, as he's lived it himself...

err as i have nothing to with supporting online platforms that promote hatred and spread misleading dangerous stories there isnt anything to read here...maybe TWTD should also consider its support of such sites now we are back in the 1st division...

Brilliant Phil, so good to see the love for town. Can i just say thanks too for your hard work over the last few years. Always a pleasure to bump into you both home and away. Whilst most of us are in a bar celebrating you are hard at it adding colourful content like this.

Cheers, most appreciated. Pleasure to catch up with you as well on a couple of occasions this season. See you at Anfield, Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge or wherever in the season ahead!
